DESCRIPTION:This workshop\, offered by the White Willow Centre for Natural Therapies and Holistic Study\, is perfect for anyone who would like to learn how to provide rejuvenating hand and foot massage treatments that enhance relaxation\, relieve tension and promote a sense of well-being. From practitioners looking to enhance their offerings to parents and caregivers interested in learning a wonderful way of relieving stress\, the Hand and Foot Massage workshop is designed to share the general wellness benefits of focusing on two often-overlooked areas of the body. \nParticipants will delve into techniques that target the hands and feet\, recognizing their significance in overall well-being. \nThis workshop emphasizes the therapeutic effects of massage on these extremities\, which are vital for daily activities and often bear the brunt of stress.Throughout the session\, attendees will learn various massage techniques tailored specifically for the hands and feet. \nParticipants will acquire practical skills and gain a deeper appreciation for the therapeutic potential of hand and foot massage in everyday use.  \nDesiree Marcotte\, certified myomassologist (which includes reflexology\, Swedish massage & other modalities) has been practicing in the Sudbury area since 2012\, and is also a certified instructor. \nYou have the option to turn your training experience into an overnight self-care retreat at The Laughing Forest. \nThe one-day workshop takes place in Spanish\, ON at The Laughing Forest. \nDate: Saturday\, Oct. 24 \, 2026 10 a.m. – 3 p.m. \nHand & Foot Massage Workshop fee: $225 (no tax) $50 deposit required to secure your spot. Plus\, morning Chakra Flow body movement and breathwork.
