No pet policy: The Laughing Forest, and the surrounding area, is home to many wild animals – big and small. We love all the animals that walk among us; however, pets can sometimes attract larger animals onto the trails. For your safety and the safety of your pets we have a strict no pet policy in the forest and on the trails.
No smoking or vaping policy: Smoking or vaping is not permitted in the forest or on the trails. We have a designated smoking area.
Recreational drug use is not permitted on the property.
Cell phones: Forest bathing is a time to disconnect from technology. We ask that you kindly keep your electronic devices on airplane mode while at The Laughing Forest.
Parental supervision:
Due to the nature of the forest, rock outcrops and higher mountainous peaks, children and youth 16 and under must be accompanied by an adult when visiting the forest.
Cancellation Policy:
Refunds: Registration for a workshop, class or retreat requires a minimum deposit of 50%. If you decide to cancel, the deposit will be non-refundable. You may, however, transfer your workshop or retreat spot to another person. The remaining portion of the payment will be due on the day of the event when you arrive.
Inclement weather: The Laughing Forest reserves the right to cancel/reschedule an event due to severe weather conditions. You will be fully refunded if an event is cancelled. If an event is rescheduled, and you are unable to attend the event on the rescheduled date, you will receive a credit towards any future events you wish to attend.
